High-CRI Strobe Illumination
Accurate film scanning depends as much on lighting quality as it does on sensor performance.
The Scan Studio Pro uses a high-CRI strobe light source engineered specifically for film capture, delivering consistent, repeatable illumination with excellent color fidelity. High CRI lighting ensures that subtle color variations, skin tones, and tonal transitions present on film are reproduced accurately during digitization.
Strobed illumination synchronized to frame capture minimizes motion artifacts, reduces heat exposure to the film, and maintains uniform exposure across the entire image area. This approach is particularly important for archival materials, where preserving the original look and color characteristics of the film is critical.
The result is stable, clean, and color-accurate scans that provide a reliable foundation for restoration and color work.
